Please join us for the opening reception for Southern Industrial Landscapes: Photographs of the Marietta Bell Bomber Plant, 1942-1944. Presented in partnership with the KSU Archives.This exhibition highlights 25 photographs of the Marietta Bell Bomber Plant from the collection of the Kennesaw State University Archives. These photographs offer compelling glimpses of the dramatic economic and social changes in Cobb County during the early 1940s and the impact of technology, industry, and the machine age on art and the American landscape.

KSU Archives Partners with the Marietta Housing Authority

The KSU Archives is partnering with the Marietta Housing Authority (MHA) to document their nearly 75 years of service to the community. Founded in 1938, the MHA has contributed to the development of Cobb County, making their collaboration with the Archives an ideal fit with our mission to preserve the history of northwest Georgia. Student intern, Shantina Starks, is currently working to inventory the files of the organization in order for archivists on staff to make recommendations on storage and access to these important records.

Winter break, Dec. 17-Jan 1

Kennesaw State University will be closed from Saturday, December 17, 2011, through Sunday, January 1, 2012, for the Winter break. During this time, the Archives, Bentley Rare Book Gallery, and Records Management will be closed, as will the exhibit, "How God became English: The Making of the King James Bible."
