Distance Learning Complaints and Appeals Form

This form provides a way in which KSU Distance Learners may lodge a complaint and ensure assistance from the KSU Distance Learning Center staff. KSU desires to resolve student grievances, complaints and concerns in an expeditious, fair and amicable manner. The Complaints and Appeals Page was developed to assist current and prospective students in submitting complaints and appeals and to direct them to the most effective venue for accurate information and resolution. The resources on the page will direct students to the specific venue to appropriately address related student complaint.
If a student complaint or concern is related to a specific course, we encourage students to first attempt to resolve any concerns with their course professor. In all matters of student complaints, whether online or face-to-face, we will always encourage the first point of resolution take place between the student and the faculty member directly. When the faculty member is not available, or reasonable efforts have been exhausted, the Academic Department Chair is the next level of contact for assistance in resolving any students concerns.
Please be advised, that the rights, procedures, and policies outlined in the KSU Student Handbook apply to all students, regardless of physical location and state of residence: http://catalog.kennesaw.edu Students who are enrolled in completely online majors should follow the same general procedures for complaints and concerns as students who attend classes on campus. However, for any process that requires a student to appear in person, the university may make other arrangements. For processes that cannot be completed via telephone, e-mail, or written correspondence, the university may set up a two-way videoconference site in place of a meeting on the KSU campus.
